When working in 12d Model, output files like PDFs or 12dAs are created on your local drive. It’s easy to miss these when checking your project into 12d Synergy, and forget to upload them — leading to lost or missing data.
Not anymore. Pending Files automatically tracks your 12d Model output files and prompts you to upload them at the Check-In window.
Once your output files are identified, you can also choose to upload them to a different location — like a dedicated ‘Outputs’ folder.
Disconnected Shares – 12d Model Shares Downloaded on Demand
Moving in and out of the office with a 12d Model project means internet access can vary from site to site. Choose not to take your project offline, assuming you’ll have a strong connection, and you might arrive in the field with no internet — and no access to your data.
With Disconnected Shares, you can download all your shared 12d Model data — like Models and TINs — on demand before you leave the office at Check-Out. This means your data is still available if you lose connectivity.
Use this carefully. If shared models are updated while you’re offline, you risk working with outdated data.
Our strongly recommended best practice is to use Offline Data Mode alongside this feature — it locks your data while you’re offline, so there’s no risk of working with an outdated version.
