The Role, Civil/Structural Engineering (Engineering)

The role includes assisting clients through training, configuration, and consultation in the adoption of 12d Synergy to their organisation.

This includes providing real solutions that marry with 12d Synergy Strengths. Collaboration with clients to understand their challenges and offer alternative processes and ways of working to strengthen their business through the use of 12d Synergy, whilst meeting and in many cases exceeding their needs.

We are looking for someone to complement our existing team with their industry knowledge and be open minded and flexible about their approach to the role.

Core objectives include:

  • Project management and training of new clients to ensure they are successfully onboarded in their software adoption.
  • Provide mentoring, upskilling, and supervision of in-house users.
  • Configuration of technical software/data sets in 12dS.
  • Optimize configuration to suit company needs ensuring a painless, faster, and flawless workflow.
  • Own the implementation project for new customers & deliver in line with customers milestones.
  • Be a customer champion, ensuring their views are represented within the product roadmap though development advisory.
  • Drive continual improvement in user satisfaction through regular training.
  • Consultation of technical software for our support team as required.
  • Participate in regular new logo/trial meetings.
  • Assist with Customer Success programs.
  • Working closely with clients to not only deliver to scope, but to consult, educate and present alternate methods of delivery for an outcome of increased efficiency.

Qualifications & Industry Experience:

  • Experienced 12d Model or 12d Field user is essential.
  • Min 5 years of industry experience. Expertise in the survey, design and construction or information management are a must.
  • Desirable hands-on experience in products may include: AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil3D, Revit, Navisworks, Infraworks, BIM 360, Trimble Business Centre, Magnet, Carlson or other frequently used design and construction packages a bonus but not necessary.
  • Ability to diversify skills and knowledge to other products beyond previous hands-on experience, a willingness to lean.
  • A good understanding of the global AEC industry and a willingness to upskill in new industry standards.
  • A fundamental understanding of good information management practices and experienced in defining and integration of Common Data Environments is highly regarded.
  • A sound understanding of industry standards and practices; BIM, experience large multidiscipline projects or tier 1 projects.
  • Bachelor of Engineering highly regarded.
  • Formal qualifications in current industry standards such as ISO19650 highly regarded.
  • Non-essential but desirable, industry experience using 12d Synergy.

  • Time management/organisation: accomplish objectives effectively within time frame given and carry out administrative duties within portfolio in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Solutions focused: Be an out of the box thinker and not settle for the mediocre resolution.

Other point of note on the role:

  • Occasional overnight / multisite stays away for work will be required to fulfill the requirements of the role.
