About the Role
We are seeking a surveyor to join our team, supporting clients in adopting surveying technologies and transitioning to digital engineering workflows. This role involves delivering tailored software training, system configuration, and one-on-one consultation.
You’ll collaborate with a diverse range of surveying clients—from small and medium companies to large enterprise organisations—to understand their unique challenges and deliver innovative solutions. By recommending alternative processes and digital workflows to help automate operations.
You’ll be supported by an experienced team of surveyors, receiving mentorship and ongoing training in 12d Model, 12d Synergy, ADAC, A-Spec, FME and TopoDOT to support your success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use your surveying knowledge, skills and experience to help new and existing 12d Synergy customers implement and streamline 12d Synergy.
- The training and onboarding of new customers in person and online.
- Project management of the implementation and onboarding process.
- Configuration of technical Survey software/data sets in 12d Synergy; examples include 12d Model, CAD, LisCAD, Magnet, Trimble and Leica software, etc.
- Own the implementation project with customers and deliver in line with the agreed-upon customers’ milestones.
- Willingness to upskill with new industry standards, ISO 19650, ADAC 6, Digital Engineering standards.
- Provide technical support to customers online or in person.

About You:
- Min 5 years’ experience as a construction Surveyor in Australia/NZ.
- 5 years of experience using survey software tools, like 12d Model, CAD & Civil 3D, LisCAD, Magnet, Trimble (TBC), and Leica software.
Not essential but desirable:
- Experience creating ADAC XML files for Queensland Authorities.
- Hands‑on experience with reality capture workflows, including point‑cloud acquisition, processing, and deliverables using TopoDOT, Leica Cyclone, Global Mapper, and Propeller.
- Experience creating 12d Macros.
- Exposure to FME (Feature Manipulation Engine).
- Experienced in using Common Data Environments (Autodesk Construction Cloud, ProjectWise, 12d Synergy, Aconex or Teambinder (InEight Document).
Other point of note on the role:
- Occasional overnight/multisite stays away for work will be required to fulfil the requirements of the role.
- A clean driving licence is essential.
